The Tour
Our top-to-bottom building tour will take about one hour and include everything – and we mean everything – involved in setting up and monitoring the sustainability initiatives of this unique property.
The team behind room2 has measured and taken measures to reduce all the carbon emissions from the raw materials, transportation, construction, refurbishments to the eventual demolition of the site, plus the operational carbon emissions such as the day-to-day running of the property – this can also be known as embodied carbon plus operational carbon. Any unavoidable carbon emissions are offset through nature-based, verified offsets. During the tour guests will see and learn about every measure taken, from the floor tiles and soft seating to the technology-led “lab rooms” and even to the rooftop beehive.
