Last month we announced the launch of The Altos — our awards ceremony that recognises and celebrates hospitality operators and software providers in the corporate accommodation industry. Nominations are also open for this flagship event, which acknowledges innovation across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Today we can reveal our first group of speakers, who will share expert insights at London’s Landing Forty Two on December 5.
They cover a spectrum of areas related to corporate housing, from sustainability and design to remote work and business travel. Our initial list of industry experts includes:
- William Parry, CEO and Co-Founder, Altido
- Samantha Van Leeuwen, Head of Hotels and Venues, PwC
- Sana Shajarisales, Investment Manager, Outsite
- Vanessa de Souza Lage, Co-Founder & CEO, Sustonica
- James Fry, Founder & CEO, Beyond Apartments
- Felicity Cousins, editor, Sustainable Hotel News
- Sarah Whiting, Channel Solutions Lead, Thrust Carbon
We’ll be unveiling more speakers in the coming weeks, but for now you can check out the agenda for the day here.
The Conversations You Need to Hear at The Altos
In the build-up to The Altos awards ceremony, you can expect engaging conversations from them all, over a series of panel debates and presentations that take place between 3pm and 5.30pm:
- How are hotels and serviced apartment providers adapting to new business travel demands?
- What are the best strategies for hospitality operators looking to expand in the EMEA region?
- How does distributed workforces and co-working affect hotel operations?
- Are serviced apartments evolving fast enough, to keep up with hybrid hospitality and co-living demand?
- Will new sustainability reporting rules impact the accommodation sector, as well as corporate travel and talent mobility programmes?
- What are the latest developments in revenue management when it comes to leveraging extended stay bookings?
- What are the trends to watch out for in 2024 and beyond?
