The AltoVita team presented a vision for modern business travel at ProcureCon Travel earlier this month: One that prioritises traveller comfort, streamlines management for procurement teams, and delivers unprecedented value to businesses.
ProcureCon Travel is a gathering place for innovative leaders in travel procurement and corporate travel management to share ideas and insights and brainstorm solutions for overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities. The event occurred June 2-4, 2024, in Denver, Colorado.
As a headline sponsor, AltoVita made a significant impact with their partner keynote on Monday morning, setting the tone for the event. Nearly all ProcureCon Travel participants attended the session by AltoVita’s Vice President of Client Partnerships, Beverly King, and Senior Director of Client Partnerships, Jess Dunderdale, highlighting the high level of interest in AltoVita’s offerings.
The AltoVita team also hosted a private dinner on Monday evening, attracting procurement and travel leaders eager to explore how AltoVita’s modern approach to business travel and corporate housing could elevate their programs.
Attendees were captivated by AltoVita's unique ability to manage their hotel programmers and corporate housing needs. In July 2023, AltoVita introduced AltoSearch, a game-changing platform that seamlessly integrates extended stay-accommodation, such as serviced apartments and private homes, with hotels and aparthotels on a single platform.
This integration revolutionised how travellers search and book accommodation, significantly expanding AltoVita’s inventory to 180,000 instantly bookable multi-unit properties across 35,000 destinations, totaling 7 million units globally.
“The AltoSearch platform can accommodate both short- and extended-stay demand, and it is capable of supplying hotel rooms within quick turnaround time, including last-minute booking or extension, any time,” said Peggy Ng, Director of Client Development at AltoVita, in the APAC Accommodation Landscape Report.
Throughout the event, several large enterprise clients approached the AltoVita stand afterward to discuss potential collaborations.
The conference focused on actionable strategies that meet the goals of all stakeholders. The format was dedicated to face-to-face interactions so attendees could develop new relationships and reconnect with peers.
What emerged in conversations was an appetite for innovation. Buyers are keen to continue to adopt, and for the suppliers to adopt, AI to improve processes. Despite this excitement, companies are still cautious regarding security concerns and want to deeply research options.
“We’re seeing that corporate buyers are very educated on their options and open to collaborations that allow them to maximise their purchasing power,” said Dunderdale.
